The film portrays the life of the ex boxing world-champion in flyweight, Jaime "El Cieguito Ramos". It displays his success as well as failures and how the fame brought him to the world of drugs, until he was blocked up in penitentiary, with the ending of how he was rehabilitated and integrated into society again.

With it, we get a privileged look behind the scenes of life in today's Havana, from the upper middle class in a Communist country to the people and music of the streets as women struggle to maintain their family life and deal with the fiercely competitive life of professional musicians.
