V. Festvial Fusión de Artes Visuales 2008

The Festival Fusión de Artes Visuales takes place since 2004 and hosted many works of national and international artists.

Visual artists from all over the world may participate with works of painting, etching, xylography, linocut, water colour, photography, sculpture, installation, video, digital arts or novel forms of visual arts.

Interested artists can apply with a photo of their work and a short curriculum. The maximum of works to participate with is three pieces and they have to be in place at least one week before the opening. 

The festival is not a competition to win prizes, but rather a possibility to exchange national as well as international novel trends in themes and techniques. Last years exhibition was dedicated to the caribbean coast of Nicaragua, whereas this year the festival will take place in honour of the passed artist Leonicio Sáenz.

The vernissage is on Wednesday 19th of november at 7:30 p.m. and will be accompanied by dancetheatre and Jazz music.
