Coro de Àngeles

The aim of LOCREO is to support the human right of free expression, artistic creativity and the participation of citizens. The cultural identity of the children and adolescents is developed and encouraged and as a result the future of the communes is changed positively. More than 300 participants benefit from LOCREO.

The project regularly offers artistic and creative workshop, which deal with topics such as human rights (especially rights of children), environment and equality of gender. Children and adolescnets are able to discover their creativity and artistic expressiveness and are supported in their development and self-confidence.

The project has a certain structure:

Coordination: Fernando López, cultural director of the Casa de los Tres Mundos

Divisions:music, arts and theatr

Workshops: the workshops are created by young agent. These "Multipliers" are educated theoretically and practically at the Casa de los Tres Mundos.

In the following districts of Granada there are several workshops per week:

• Casa Comunal Coro de Ángeles

• Casa Comunal Calli Tanday

• Casa Comunal Los Gorrioncitos

• Hogar de Niñas Huérfanas “Madre Albertina”

• and in the Casa Comunal de los Ángeles and the school Rafaela Herrera in the village Malacatoya.

Every three months there are great presentations of every division, to demonstrate the skills and development of the participants in front of an enthusiastic audience.
